Hello! I know we are are all probably feeling a little sale fatigue, with a week still to go until Black Friday. But let’s drink that cup of coffee and buckle up! You don’t want to miss this.
So, here’s the story: starting TODAY, 11/22 and running through Sunday, 12/1 Beautycounter is offering 15% off sitewide (**with some exceptions, of course**). You can shop on your own at www.beautycounter.com/alisonschramm, you can go to a store (if you happen to live in NYC, LA or Denver) OR you can reach out to me and have me place an order for you. Or don’t order at all, but that’s not any fun.
**I should note here that I typically like to wait for AT LEAST a 30% off sale, so I understand if you aren’t floored by this discount. But, this is about as low as Beautycounter goes - AND, I also have to say this: if a certain clothing brand (who will remain un-named) is able to discount their clothes by 40% WEEKLY, they probably aren’t worth their full-price cost in the first place. Am I right??**
I love fielding any and all Beautycounter-related questions and helping you choose the right products for YOU. Let me be your Beautycounter spirit guide, if you will. Here are some good places to start, if you’re feeling so inclined…
HOLIDAY SETS:
Who wouldn’t love the gift of clean beauty? All of the sets are great, but I’m particularly loving the lips (Jellies and Mini Lipgloss Vault), the Counter+ Skincare Favorites Set, and the Eyeshadow Palettes. Or maybe you have some teacher gifts to buy - check out the hand creams or body butters (you can split them up to make it even more cost-effective).
SKINCARE:
(Check out the skincare quiz, if you’re totally new to BC…)
Are you over the age of 35? Great, me too! I’ve been using the Countertime anti-aging line since this summer and love-love-love it. Try the whole set/regime or start with just a few (or 1) piece. The Essence is my personal favorite, but it’s all really great.
I also love the Cleansing Balm, which removes makeup like a dream. The new formulation has lotus extract, which acts as a moisturizer and can balance your skin’s oil production.
Especially this time of year, Face Oils can come in handy to keep skin tip-top. Try the No. 1 for brightening, No. 2 for “plumping” (I didn’t name it) or the No. 3 for balancing. They are all awesome and can be used with or without an additional moisturizer, depending on your skin’s needs.
(You can actually try all three face oils at a great price with the Glow & Go Mini Oil set.)
Does your skin break out occasionally? Ditto. Try the SOS Acne Spot Treatment gel. I lost mine at my sister’s house recently and my skin is not happy about it. The Charcoal Mask is another favorite for when your skin needs a little, shall we say, time-out.
MAKEUP:
Buy it all. The End.
(PS - Except maybe the eyebrow pencil. You know I don’t like the eyebrow pencil…but maybe you will! You do you.)
MISC:
There is also a men’s line called Counterman, that Pat uses and gives his stamp of approval. Plus kids and bath and body.
Take a look around and let me know if you have any questions. Happy shopping!
